turnkey test systems for the management of SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) and human body phantoms for use in performance testing of wireless devices

What is SAR?

SAR is the rate of energy absorption by body tissues close to mobile phones.

It is important for health implications, but also because of influences on transmission characteristics, battery life and the implications of using devices on different parts of the body.

SAR standards are defined as part of product certification processes, but wider access to SAR measurements is needed for new product development, maximizing useful signal, avoidance of interference, increasing battery life and examining constraints on new product designs.
