Using a 6-axis, compact, industrial robot with probe positioning accuracy of ±0.04mm, the system can measure SAR from mobile telephones and other wireless devices using an upright generic phantom head.
The upright phantom geometry has the advantage of using less liquid and having low evaporation and easier phone positioning.
A flexible phone positioner is supplied that will accept most hand-held devices with minimum measurement influence and has graduated settings to give the fixed positions as specified in the Standards.
