6GHz System extension for testing Wireless LANs and other high frequency devices

With the increasing use of WLANs and other devices operating at frequencies above 3GHz the need for testing at frequencies above the current Standards frequency limits has emerged.

The standard SARA2 SAR measuring system has been developed to extend its measuring range to 6GHz using methods and techniques based on the existing Standards up to 3GHz. New innovations, such as ‘Probe sensor position correction ’ have been created to meet the problems of SAR measurements in strong field gradients.
