The IXBH-09x fixtures have been designed to give maximum flexibilty and simple repositioning with options to be fixed to most standard OTA test platforms, including ETS (IXBH-090), SATIMO (IXBH-091), Rohde & Schwartz/Maturo (IXBA-092) and Howland (IXBH-093). These fixtures have been designed to be flexible, and accept a wide range of test devices. The base plate gives the option to allow for future left hand testing, should this become a requirement.
The two required critical plames: 'Chin line plane' and 'Ear line plane', are preset. The fixed mount on the hand when tightened with 2 x fixing screws to the phone arm ensure that the phone is parallel to and touching the head in the correct plane.
Vertical movement to position the centreline of the phone is achieved by single screw adjustment fixed by a locking collet. The hand/phone can be moved to the 6 degree touch position (until the phone just touches the surface of the mask) by one simple movement 'locked off' by a single screw. When measured in an OTA chamber, fixture effects have been shown to be in order of 0.l-0.2dB.
